GARDEN DESIGN PROCESS

Consultation
We spend time with you at your property to formulate a brief that encapsulates your needs and wants, and assess the constraints and opportunities of the site.
Site Survey
Unless you have detailed plans of the site, we will measure up the property, take soil samples, create a detailed plan of site features: views (good and bad), direction of prevailing winds etc to help us create a concept design.
Concept Design
We respond to the information from the design brief consultation and the site to create a vision for the project. We provide drawings and other imagery to help you to see what is possible.
Detailed Documentation
The highly detailed working plans are the crucial link that enable the ideas of the concept stage to be turned into a living, breathing landscape. This stage may include plans for irrigation, lighting, planting and 3D imagery as required.
Tendering
We will obtain quotations from two or three companies and write a tender report based on their submissions. We then proceed with your chosen landscape contractor.
Design Implementation
Once hardscaping has been completed, we will implement the soft landscaping. We will make sure the soil quality has been improved and then lovingly and skilfully plant hand-selected plants that we have sourced from excellent local nurseries.
